Milton Park is a tranquil rural countryside retreat with two purpose built modern two and three bedroom holiday cottages. Our accommodation is nestled in established sub-tropical gardens overlooking rolling farmland and native bush.

Milton Parks owner, Wolfgang Hertner, has created a unique holiday home which offers guests a glimpse of New Zealand’s farming lifestyle, tempered with the sophistication of European culture. Having lived in the stunning Bay of Islands for 20 years he is well versed in the “kiwi” way and brings to this his own warm hospitality and a desire to create an enjoyable and memorable experience for his guests.

Milton Park is a cosy little farm situated in the heart of New Zealand’s Bay of Islands, an area famous for it’s natural beauty, Maori and early European history and relaxed way of life.

Known as the ‘winter-less north’, the Bay of Islands is a cluster of over 144 islands with sheltered coves and sandy beaches extending into the blue pacific – the perfect location for sailing, surfing, big game fishing, scuba diving, swimming with dolphins and numerous other land and water based activities. The Bay of Islands also offers vineyards and fine dining as well as a delightful arts and crafts culture.

Most of these attractions are within 20 minutes of Milton Park making it the perfect base to explore while offering very secluded and peaceful surroundings with only the sounds of the birds to wake you in the morning. Whatever you choose to do, Wolfgang’s local knowledge will be invaluable and he is happy to arrange bookings for you.

Milton Park is only a 10 minute drive from the Kerikeri Airport and we have a 12 seat minibus running a pick up service for our visitors.
